Google Sheet with song list tool and song transition helps (used in Project #3, #4, and #5)

Below is a link to download a Google Sheet formatted in such a way that you can enter your own three song lists as described in the book. In addition, the formulas in the spreadsheet will populate multiple tabs that will sort your songs by key as well as give you every possibility of songs for smooth musical transitions (based on key relationships) based on the key of the previous song or the key of the next song. For example, if you are beginning with a song in the key of G and want to have a seamless musical transition to the next song, you can select the “G” tab and you will see every song from your list that is in the key of G, Ab, A, C, or D (all the keys that will allow smooth transitions). In addition, if you were to want to end with a song in G, you can select the “to G” tab and see every song on your list that can precede the song in G that will provide for a seamless transition.

  • Get the Google Sheet Song List Tool. Note: You must be logged in to your Google account. You will be asked to copy the sheet in your drive. Say yes and you will have a fresh copy. Then you can just change the information only on the first, third, and fourth tabs. The others will automatically populate based on the data you enter.

Video for platform presence (used in Project #12)

A video produced by Gateway Worship on platform presence is linked for your use. While the video is dated and comes from a different worship environment from your church, it offers many helpful tips for evaluating your team’s stage presence. You should watch the video to help you in evaluating your platform presence as well as your team’s platform presence.

Document for evaluation questions (used in Project #14)

You can download a Microsoft Word document or a Google Doc containing all the evaluation questions, allowing you to answer them directly within the document. Additional content is added at the end of the evaluation questions so that you can submit your project using one of these templates.
